This GT-14 monocular with is a rock solid performer that can handle just about any task. With a lower cost and slightly lighter weight than the Military PVS-14 these units are a best choice when the budget is tight. Performance will be excellent while sacrificing some durability and manual gain control feature. There are also high quality magnification lenses and other accessories available that are priced very reasonably for these units.
The GT-14 is a high-performance night vision monocular with advanced ergonomics and intelligent power control developed as an alternative to the US Military issue PVS-14. Submersible and extremely lightweight, the GT-14 uses the latest Generation image intensifier tubes and comes standard with an infrared illuminator (IR) beam that is invisible to the human eye.
GT-14 features automatic brightness control (ABC), which automatically adjusts the brightness of the image intensifier tube for varying light conditions and in-ocular low battery and IR indicators.
An ideal multi-purpose system for night operations, GT-14 can be hand-held as a monocular, head/helmet mounted as a single-eye night vision device, weapon-mounted as a night Multipurpose Viewer or attached to photo/video cameras and 3x/5x afocal attachment lenses for long-range, night surveillance. An optional dual-mount adapter allows two GT-14 monoculars to become one dual tube binocular system.

Title: Great Night Vision
Purchased the GT-14 and am very impressed with it! Ireceived a rifle scope as a present yrs ago with IR capabilities, after much internet surfing I came upon Night Vision 4 less. After reading the great educational information regarding NV they post I made the leap. Works great on rifle scope, viewing the night sky and looking for
the critters that come out at night as well as security. I am amazed how knowledgeable these folks are and helpful. I recommend them for advice on your NV and advise staying away from other internet sites offering cheap Run of the mill NV.
