These Elbit Pinnacle image tubes are equipped with autogated power supplies that allow these units to excel in all low light conditions regardless of artificial "light pollution "that exists in urban areas. The highly versatile NO/PVS-14 system can be used as a hand-held or hands-free single eye goggle, or as a night weapon system when coupled to a daytime close quarters battle sight. Each system ships with a fully adjustable Head-mount Assembly and adapter to allow right or left eye use.
Simple user controls include a 3-position switch (OFF/ON/Momentary and constant IR). The system's Generation 3 image tube features Automatic Brightness Control and is protected by fully-automated sensors that shut off the unit within seconds if accidentally exposed to bright light. Sophisticated electronics turn off the monocular when removed from the head or helmet mount or when shifted into to the "UP" position.

Title: Fantastic Product, Better Customer Service
This is a great NVD. It's clear, nicely lightweight, packed with features, comfortable to wear and easy to use. The B grade blemish means that you only have small blemishes or dots (mine had one, which was very small) and the white phosphor intensifier is very pleasant to look through. The night I got it, my wife and I went stargazing and watched the milky-way in an open field, looked at wildlife, and just enjoyed the new opportunity this allowed (Picture added as a link at the end of review, but if you don't trust review links because you're a smart guy then take my word: It's gorgeous).
The headgear is very nice (bear in mind "skullcrusher" is an earned name, it's headgear not a pillow), but the J-arm I had was a little wobbly. Because of that the device would auto-shut off, thinking it was being stowed. To fix this, I put a little bit of electrical tape on the bayonet mount to shim and it fits like a charm and has no more issues.
On top of that, the customer service was fantastic. I did not add this item to my cart. My initial purchase was of another item, the AGM PVS-14 'C' grade tube (SKU: 11P14123454131 if you wanna look at it yourself). The day after I placed the order I received a call about the product. It was out of stock and would be for two more months. For this, I was offered an upgrade to a cleaner tube quality as well as a better warranty. I was blown away by that offer and received the notification of shipping. Two days later, it came in.
Overall, this is a fantastic product and backed by great customer service. If I ever find myself in the market for another night vision device I will for sure be coming here again.
