Such is the case when utilizing a powerful long range infrared illuminator in a very low light situation or the addition of a mil-spec 5x lens when viewing something that is very far away. One of our most popular accessories is our Day/Night adapter, that allows certain monoculars to be attached to the eyepiece of a daylight rifle Multipurpose Viewer or a daylight spotting Multipurpose Viewer. Note that Gen 1 devices don't generally have enough light magnification to work well adapted to daylight Multipurpose Viewers.
